Today’Prayer for You

Lord God, You are wise and wonderful. It is beyond my belief how Your works display your integrity and Your goodness. I am blown away by Your faithfulness in this time of confusion and division in our America. Protect me from evil and hid me under Your wings when anxious thoughts surround me.

I confess to being preoccupied by the current state of my country and my thoughts are scattered during my prayer time in Your sacred room. Forgive me for thinking that my scattered thoughts are evidence that You have forgot me, us, my America.

Make me someone secure in Your grace and protection. Anchor my thoughts so that they reflect my faith, trust, and love of You. Give me wisdom to focus my thoughts toward your thoughts and my ways are your ways. Give me gratitude and praise for what You have entrusted to me in Your holy works.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.
