My God, You are most wonderful. You have made me with wisdom since my commitment to You. As Your child, I don’t have to take in everything placed before me.

What I watch and what I read quickly fills my mind which pulls my attention away from You.

Forgive this sin. I confess how easily I reach for more social media content. When I start reading, I do not realize that it draws me away from Your thoughts and Your ways.

Show me when I do this and give me a pause by having my thoughts return to You. This will allow me to stop being so engrossed in what I am reading and return to Your thoughts.

Show me quickly and often what is shaping my thoughts which are Your thoughts. Teach me to choose You and Your thoughts, light, truth, and peace. In Jesus name I pray.
