A Prayer for November

Heavenly Father,

As the leaves fall and the air turns crisp, I step into this new month of November with my heart quiet and open. Thank you for Your gift of a seasons and for Jesus faithful presence that is always constant through every change that I experience. Remind me that seasons have beginnings and endings as each season was created by You.

As the days grow shorter, draw me ever closer to Your Light. Let me “be a living sacrifice for You.” Teach me to pay attention to Your Holy Word and to slow down noticing my blessings that often pass unnoticed through my distractions daily

I give thanks to You for my blessings that are many, such as a warm home,Your gift of loved ones and family, food to eat and Your beautiful creation. Protect those who are homeless and struggle each day for nourishment. Provide caregivers for their needs during these cold months of winter approaching. Let them know the quiet comfort of Your everlasting love and grace

Let me cultivate a heart of deep, abiding gratitude for Your grace and provision. Draw my attention to my quiet moments of growth and the strength You give me through every challenge that I face. Silence the worries that crowd my mind and replace them with Your joyous “peace that surpasses all understanding.”

Lord, guide my steps throughout this month ahead. Help me to show kindness to those who are struggling, encouragement to the weary, and friendship to those who feel lonely.

May I use this month as a time of reflection, peace, growth, and abundant grace as the holiday approaches. I place my days, my family, friends, worries, and my path in Your hands.

Lord I love You,

Amen.
