Who are you serving?

Ezekiel 36:25 KJV

“Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.”

Let God wash your heart and rid you of every idol. Only He can cleanse you completely. Only God can make you new. Only God can make you whole. Only God can make you complete in Him.

When you worship or idolize “things”, this is an attempt to replace God. It won’t work. You’ll continue to have a deep longing for something more. You will lose every time. That longing is meant for God. That is how we are created. Your heart cannot be fulfilled with the “things” of the world, whether money, or careers, or even other people. There is no created thing that can fill what your heart is longing for. Your heart craves God. Your spirit longs for Him. There is nothing that can occupy that space in your heart but God. Let God fill your heart. He alone is to be worshipped.

Your heart was created by God and you were designed to worship Him. Idols are temporary and do not last. Idols were created as lure by Satan and meant to keep you away from God. Let Him give you a new heart — a Heart that reflects His Ways, His Love, and His Power.

Who or what are you serving? Are you choosing to serve created things that will soon fade away?

God is stronger than any addiction. He is stronger than any struggle or stronghold — Serve Him and cast your fears, worries and struggles at His feet.

PRAYER

ABBA Father, God, Jesus, I thank You for setting me free from every addiction, struggle and stronghold. Lord, I let me surrender to You and lay down every mistake, shortcoming, sin at your feet. Father, make me new in You.

Father, thank You for Your unending Love. Thank You for reaching for me. Thank You for the guidance of Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for making me whole in You.

Your Power reaches to the very depths of my heart. Your Love flows to every part of my soul including every hidden place within me. You transform my inner being. ABBA Father, I surrender to You. I am Yours forever. In Jesus Name. Amen
