Through the Cracks

I especially was drawn to your lines,

“Absent is the inner dialogue,
the self-critic.
All that remains is pure love,
pure light.

These words remind me when I’m praying I have learned to fully quiet my mind with silence so that I can embrace God speaking to me. Sometimes He does and sometimes not but in the silence I can feel Him present even when no word is spoken because I have learned the beauty of silence. Susan

The silence of You
draws me ever closer
to silence within

i model silence from You
and hear You calling, calling
i feel presence peace Holy
as you embrace my being
wholely Holy wholly You.
