For my first post on my new blog, I decided to talk about Change. It can be positive such as setting a new goal for yourself (good). Or you can try to set a change for someone else(not so good). Who do you control?
One quote I learned from Al-anon was The Serenity Prayer that speaks of change…
I learned in those meeting that the only thing I could change is myself. I could not change other people, places, or things.
What things have you been trying to control or change?
This is a true quote. Do you have the courage to face a change that you control?
This is a very interesting quote that states the same amount of energy for making yourself miserable or getting stronger. I think being miserable costs you more energy because of the anxiety that accompanies misery. Do you agree?
Now, James Baldwin had it correct with his quote that change requires facing it. Are you in denial or accepting change?
This quote from Robin Williams(God rest his soul) talks about words and ideas having the ability to change the world. Whoever created AI was praying Robin’s quote.Do you think AI is doing this?
This quote addresses change, growth, and living. Are you willing to grow and try to change yourself?
This quote says that change in thinking can solve problems. Have you had a problem like tires losing air or going flat. Wouldn’t you change the problem very quickly in that circumstance?
And my final quote is one of my favourite and I have incorporated it into my daily schedule and it is on my TASK LIST to remind me every day.
